Language defines us. It unites and divides us. It mystifies us and makes us laugh. We care deeply about it, whether it’s apostrophe abuse, speech discrimination, or the sweetness of a mother tongue. Language evolves voraciously and uncontrollably. Sometimes parts of it fade away toward extinction.

Subtitle tells the stories of people with linguistic passions: comedians, writers, and researchers; speakers of endangered languages; speakers of multiple languages; and just speakers. People like you and me.
